Best way to explore the under water world!
I have done 4 trips with Insider Divers and already have my next one booked - this time I will swim with whales. Insider Divers manage trip details thoroughly, making it as effortless as possible for the divers. The most recent trip was Galapagos, and the mix of land and sea arrangements, taking into consideration the rules and policies of the park, were quite intricate, but all we needed to do was show up (on time please!) because all of the heavy lifting was done by Simon. It is also valuable that he is an award-winning underwater photographer so after the trip, we get pro photos to keep the memories alive for a lifetime!

Learn from the pros: Highly recommend for anyone serious to advance their UW photography. I've done dive trips with photo workshops before, and they've been a mixed bag elsewhere. Here, it all came together: Proper planning (from organisation to season and dive sites), care and hand-selected groups, and most importantly: A schedule jam-packed with diving, workshops, and rubbing shoulders with a great crew of like-minded people.
I submitted some of my photos from the workshop and won in two categories at OG PICOTY!!
Diving the same sites as the pros will help anyone who wants to take their photography game to the next level. I loved the spirit of "get out there to get a killer shot". Proper image reviews, up-to-date software classes, and the pro's insights into composition and overall technique will appeal to beginners or more advanced photographers (like myself) alike.

The Timor Leste Expedition 2025 was a mindboggling beautiful experience. It‘s a dream come true to swim with bluewhales. Thank you Simon, Aaron, Evan, Des, Marco and the whole crew for making this possible. I had encounters of a life time.

Diving Adventures with Exceptional Service
Insiders Divers provides the best of the best for diving adventures. I have been diving with Simon and his company for the last 5 years and every time the service and quality exceeds my expectations. The communication and customer service are exceptional. The ease of booking and have every little detail taken care of for me so all I have to do is show up is on point and makes traveling so much less of a hassle. The diving spots that are picked give us the best possible outcomes allowing us to see as much animal life as possible and the on- land expeditions are the icing on the cake.
The boats and resorts picked are top notch. The company has proven time and time again they care about us the customers and making sure we all have the best experience and vacation possible.

Photography Maestros
Simon and Tobias, our photography maestros, orchestrated a symphony of lectures on underwater photography, composition, lighting, and those mind-boggling techniques for capturing the tiniest of critters in all their glory.
Spending a week in the company of these underwater photography masters, with the chance to bombard them with questions throughout the day, was nothing short of priceless.
My underwater images have been dragged by the ears to a whole new level, and I'm seriously contemplating proudly displaying some of my work in my living room.
norway orcas!
I just went to Norway in 2023 for my first time with Insider Divers and it was EPIC to say the very least. I felt like I was on a real life episode of National Geographic. I'm an avid diver and have been lucky enough to have had many adventures and this was the best experience of my life thus far which is saying A LOT. Simon is also an amazing, knowledgeable person. He has spent so much time with me on the phone giving me advice about places to dive/travel/back pack etc. He really takes the time to understand you and your wishes and provide the best experience- even if it's not with his company. He has been a great travel/dive consultant. 10/10 recommend going with Insider only if you want to have an EPIC experience, thank you Simon and the rest of the team!!
I have booked my next trip to Komodo already and I cannot wait!
Words can't express the gratitude
Words can't really express the gratitude I feel to have this amazing adventure and to get to spend time with such incredible marine life. Under the sea blowing bubbles is my quiet safe .place and I definitely needed mental break from reality.
Many, many thanks to Simon Lorenz who is the fantastic trip leader and owner of Insider Divers for his leadership, organization, knowledge and photography. All I had to do was show up and enjoy myself thanks to his hard work. This is my 4th trip with him and every penny is worth the amazing adventures he will take you on!
Bucket List trip to Tonga
Bucket list trip to Tonga trip with Insider Divers. The travel was long and difficult but the trip was fabulous. We experienced many different kinds of encounters: two mature females, solo males (singers), and the highlight - mother and calf. If I could cry happy tears while soaking wet, I would have! Just a phenomenal experience. Included in the trip were Simon’s excellent presentations about whales, which were informative and interesting. Simon sees to all the trip details, including giving us all amazing shots of us in the water with the whales. Simon leads great trips and I will definitely be booking other trips with Insider Divers!!!
Top Organization
Simon's organization and communication pre-trip and during the trip is more than you could possibly ask for. His research into the various dive sites in the world guarantees you are going to be in the right part of the world at the right time with the most professional operators in the area. I loved the talks and presentations in between the dives and I learned a tremendous amount about photography and marine biology. Also, Simon is a very skilled photographer and he took several of me that I will cherish.
